Two friend groups merged on a weekend trip to K38. The waves were less than ideal, but the company made up for it.

After that, we became fast friends as we explored PB, surfed, and snowboarded with a widening group of great people. We circled the same orbit for almost 4 years but dating never crossed our minds.

Then, during a last-minute weekend trip to Mammoth at the end of 2021, we spent the entire 10-hour drive up talking nonstop. On that trip, something just clicked.

Joe asked Devon out on a proper date on December 27, and at midnight on New Year’s he asked her to be his girlfriend.
